Horde of Worms

Emerging from the depths of the Canadian black/grind/death metal scene comes HORDE OF WORMS. They combine a potent mixture of extreme music to create their own unique brand of metal. One only needs to listen to any of their blasting releases out on the Bloodbucket Productions label for the proof.

Utilizing speed, melody, texture, and mood; their songs rip caverns into the listeners mind, soul and ears leaving them salivating for more!!!

HORDE OF WORMS are continuing the tradition of their predecessors while carving their own brutal path into the future...

HORDE OF WORMS was formed in 1996 by two friends, Alexander Erhardt and Brent Assoun. Together in 1997/1998 they recorded their s/t debut and enlisted mutual friend Chris Stepniewski to handle the session vokill duties. Soon after the release of their debut they hooked up with Gord McCubbin on bass guitars, it was with this line-up that the Horde recorded and released their second vicious album titled "Dreams and Dying Eyes" in 1999. After the recording of said album Chris left the fold to persue his own interests. The Worms then found a new session vokillist in the throaty Peter Cythrawl and with this line-up recorded and released the violent MCD "Wormageddon" in 2001, which contains three highly venomous new tracks and a re-recorded version of "Dead" from their debut plus a hidden bonus track and is limited to 1000 copies, so buy or die!!!

Recently, the Worms have returned to the original line-up seeing the departure of Peter Cythrawl to persue his own interests and Gord McCubbin leaving the horde due to musical differences. Alexander has now taken over lead vokill duties and both Brent and Alexander are splitting the bass duties until a suitable replacement has been acquired... Serious inquiries only!

HORDE OF WORMS have now released their fourth album of blitzkrieg proportions titled "The Uncreation". According to the band, these songs are the next step in the (d)evolution of the horde with the songs being more dynamic and intense! The Uncreation begins now!!! HORDE OF WORMS have completed the writing for their forthcoming MCD titled "Unearthly Desolation" and have now entered the studio to begin recording this certain killer. The band will include a track or two from this release as a part of their upcoming 10 year jubileum/best of release that will be out in 2006. HORDE OF WORMS are in the planning stages of releasing a limited edition vinyl split with their crushing death metal cohorts ROTTING next year! The worms would also like to thank Alex (The Sentient) for all his bass help over the last year. Hail Canadian Blast Metal!! Beware the Worms!!!

Castrum

CASTRUM was formed back in September 1994, when two friends (Cornelius - guitar and Georgius - vocals) decided to create a unique Death Metal band with one aim to play the music they like. At the beginning they characterized the style of CASTRUM as Gothic-Brutal Death Metal with medieval parts. At this time the band's drummer was Lancelot. But, after four months Lancelot left the band (he called up for military service), then there was a long search for a new drummer. During this time, without drummer, guitarist Cornelius composed many new songs. Almost one year later in September 1995, new drummer Werkoff joined the band and the line-up of CASTRUM became stable.

In February 1996 CASTRUM recorded their first demo called "Burial of the Affection", which contained 7 songs. Just a few months later in June 1996 CASTRUM entered to "Impertinence Studio" to record their first studio demo called "Flames by Impiety", which included 2 tracks + intro/outro of medieval Death Metal and was produced by Cornelius personally. In October 1996, the band recorded three new songs for the second studio demo "Pleasure in the Deeds of Horror", produced by Eugene Petrus and Cornelius. This demo was very well received by the underground press and fans worldwide. The lyrical conception of CASTRUM mostly deals with historical events but there were some lyrics based on the band members' personal experiences too. On this demo the band achieved even better production and a much heavier sound. Later on, Werkoff was compelled to leave the band, due to the complications took part in his family life. He had been replaced with drummer Doni from SOULREST.

Forward to the 10th of October 1998 CASTRUM was invited to Banská Bystrica (Slovakia), where they played with such great bands like KRABATHOR (Godz!!!), AGGRESSIVE TYRANTS, SANATORIUM, etc. It was a fantastic experience for all the members of CASTRUM. On this gig the band presented its new line-up which consisted of Cornelius - guitar/vocals, Sharapoff - guitar and Doni - drums. Further line-up change for CASTRUM, Sharapoff is no longer in the band and a new bassist has been already recruited. So the current line-up is: Doni - drums, Roma - bass and Cornelius - guitar/vocals.

In September 1999 the band signed a deal with the Ukrainian underground label Metal Force Records. The first result of it was an MC release unleashed under the banner of "The Leading Spirit of Medieval Tortures" (MF002). In the fall of 2000 Metal Force Records released the band's debut album "Hatenourisher" (MF006) in MC format. It followed shortly a record deal with Canadian Bloodbucket Productions and "Hatenourisher" was out in CD format (BPCD1304) as well by 25th of May 2001! During January 2002 the band finished the recordings of their 2nd album, entitled "Mysterious Yet Unwearied". It was released on CD by Bloodbucket Productions on the 3rd day of December 2002! On the 12th of August 2003 CASTRUM played an excellent show before Polish Death Metal masters VADER in Lvov (Ukraine)!

2004 went also successfully for the band. First was the "Death Metal Assault II" gig on the 4th of March with such bands as PARRICIDE, MENTAL DEMISE and GLOBALISED ABSTRUSE and later on "Metal Heads' Mission Fest-V" (07-08.08.2004, Evpatoriya, Crimea, Ukraine) with such killer bands as PUNGENT STENCH, NEOLITH, DEAD INFECTION, TOXIC BONKERS, and AMBIVALENCE to name a few. In 2005 the band played some excellent shows and fests, i.e. "Merciless East Festival II" (Poland), "Death Metal Assault III & IV", "Smashed Ground Metal Fest", "Extreme Metal Annihilation" and "Uzhgo-Rock" (all Ukrainian). During August 25 & 26, 2005 the band recorded drumparts for the 3rd album. Later on, January 17-20 & 23, 2006 we have completed recording guitars and bass parts as well as vocal parts. 27th of January a video clip for the song "The Gate of the Universal Mystery" from the 2nd album was born.

Beginning from March 2006 the band played intensively live. First was "Death Metal Assault V" along with SMASHED FACE and DATURA. Then came a tour with MENTAL DEMISE throughout Ukraine between 18th and 27th of May yet with new young drummer Zheka.

Finally, in October the band mixed the material for the new album, titled "Phenomenonsense". It will contain 10 songs of extreme yet innovative Death Metal and will be released through Bloodbucket Productions late this year. Expect the unexpected! There were also two extra tracks recorded for possible 7" and/or compilation releases! So watch out!

Cuntworm

The project of cuntworm began as an idea, a thought, and a concept. The initial conception was to create a palette of sound which would sound shocking, as compared to being only visually offensive as many"shock rock" artists tend to do.

Cuntworm began after Allaxul had been experimenting with industrial sounds and its synthesis back in the late 1990s. Having experience with metal guitars from playing in death metal bands for years, he began to add guitars to his industrial/electronic songs. Allaxul was approached by Inanna and some mutual friends about forming a cyber grind outfit, using the music Allaxul had been working on as a basis for this project. Over time, interested wained in the project, but Allaxul continued creating music on his own. The sound was far from being cyber grind. It began to take on textures of traditional industrial music, but then implimenting black metal styled guitars and harsh vocals. Allaxul recorded a full length’s worth of material, and combiled it into the demo "Infernal Diabolique". Due to the poor sound quality, very few copies of the release were put out. Allaxul, frustrated by the poor sound quality of the music abandoned the project for a short period of time.

Inanna returned to Allaxul and they began collaborating on music again. Inanna’s keyboard work added a renewed sense of beauty to the otherwise harsh and dirty noise Allaxul was creating. The pair created the demo "tasting the blood, tasting the spirit" and released in early 2003. During this time, cuntworm began to experiment with performing live, utilizing Dakar (Cole McKinley of the band Daughter of Lust) on rhythm guitar. Later in the year, B. Monsta was added to the lineup as a session bassist and another demo was conjured up in 2004 entitled, "the beauty of self-destruction". The release was much darker and heavier than the previous release, and began to delve further into regions of black metal and further away from traditional industrialized metal. Cuntworm was soon signed to
Bloodbucket Productions during this period of time.

After signing to Bloodbucket, Lord Nefarious Ara (
Internal Evisceration) was brought in. Allaxul, noting the vampiric themes of several material from the demos, decided to create the debut full length as a conceptual piece. The album was to be called "Aria des Vampyr". The band began to rework and recraft material, and throughout the process were countless setbacks, digital malfunctions, and many many other problems. Frustrated by all of this, Allaxul contacted Donhead (Unearthed Corpse) in 2005 to co-produce the album. After another grueling period of digital malfunctions, the album was finally finished and released in 2006. Shortly after the release, Azulkan Dorminika was brought in to fill in the vacant bass position.

Prior to the album’s release, Allaxul began crafting additional material for a second release. With the problems from the previous album fresh in his mind, he began to improve the sound quality and overall brutality of the music. The new material continued to blur the boundaries between genres. During this period of time, the band sequested themselves into complete isolation to realize the emotions of desolation the new music required. Due to the vast distance issues amongst the band members, Lord Ara no longer worked within the project, and concentrated on his own projects. Azulkan continued to write with the band, and overtime his collaboration grew.

In 2007, the trio of Allaxul, Azulkan, and Inanna continue to write new material. They began work on their next full length album "the inhuman condition", which is the next evolutionary step into the depth of madness the band invokes. Also, additional material was prepared for a split with fellow black metalists
Alignak and Dead Mountain. Both releases are slated for an early 2008 release.

Throb of Offal

Formed by two friends Nakai (All Guitars/Programming)and Sakai (All Vocals) in 2001 with the intent to create some of the most brutal and violent music that has ever come out of the land of the rising sun (Japan). The band would describe their sound as Gore Metal but that is not all, combining traditional Japanese musical elements and samples with their brand of Gore Metal makes them truly unique!! THROB OF OFFAL is extreme, downtuned and filthy akin in delivery to early Mortician/Catasexual Urge Motivation. Their first release was their Official Demo that came out independently in 2002, this was followed by a split featuring THROB OF OFFAL and Obsceno from Mexico. Their portion of this split was titled "Fungi Of Gore" and contains 9 deadly tracks of Japanese Gore Metal!! This was released through American Line Productions and is currently available via Bloodbucket Productions. Seemingly obsessed by fungus the band create their sonic bombasts with both musical and lyrical precision infected by their own brand of bacteria!!!

Maniac

MÄNIAC - The Speed Metal Slaughter story begins during the year 2005 in the wastelands of Canada when guitarist Jonny Exciter and drummer Chris Six Stiks decided to form a lethal metal band. A short time later a bassist by the name of Pauly Pervertis joined the MÄNIAC cult and soon thereafter a self-titled demo was recorded and unleashed upon the unsuspecting masses! The band showcased their venomous live pressence at the Bloodbucket Metalfest II and generated the best response of the evening as well as opening the eyes of the entire scene to the approaching speed metal storm! Bloodbucket Productions has signed the mighty MÄNIAC and will release their debut cd "Fast And Deadly" in 2006, you have been warned...

MÄNIAC's intentions in the words of Jonny Exciter are "Making fast metal that will bang heads and raise the fists of metal. To Rock, make the best metal we can, and party like it was 19fucking84!!" Beware for MÄNIAC is on the loose and hunting for you and your girlfriends!!!

Some other (ir)relevent MÄNIAC info... Jonny Exciter prefers brunettes and redheads, Chris Six Stix likes em' a little spicy with an East OR West Indian flavor and Pauly likes chicks that can take their clothes off with their toes...

Scablord

The debut album aptly titled "Kiss The Gristle" will be released at some point during late 2005 or early 2006 through the Bloodbucket Productions label. Check this or the label site for the latest gruesome details... The story of SCABLORD goes like this...

The debut album from SCABLORD titled "Kiss the Gristle" has been postponed due to the commitment of the mastermind NecroDeadawhile (the SCABLORD) to a sanitarium. It is rather uncertain at this point in time as to "if" and when he will be released to complete the recording of the debut. Rest assured Bloodbucket is trying to get the man a guitar! The prelim reports suggest that due to unrelenting misanthropic and nihilistic tendencies the SCABLORD will not be release any time this year. We here at Bloodbucket are proud to announce we have received a demo of two songs from the SCABLORD!!! A song will be featured on both Bloodbucket Productions compilation cds, namely "Buckets Of Blood Vol.1" and the newly released "Buckets Of Blood Vol.2"!!

We have been informed that the SCABLORD has been moved to the isolation wing of the asylum for trying to extract and eat one of the other patients eyes (reportedly with a rusted spoon)!!! Bloodbucket Productions is arranging a weekend pass for the SCABLORD to record the long awaited "Kiss The Gristle" with the assistance of Alexander/HORDE OF WORMS! There is much red tape regarding the release of Necrodeadawhile at this time (Aug, 2004), we anticipate this will be resolved by some point this year...

The recording process has begun with Alexander from HORDE OF WORMS laying down the "live" drum tracks about a month or so ago. The SCABLORD was released on a weekend pass from the institution and recorded 9 songs with guitar! Sadly, time ran out so Necrodeadawhile will be attempting to finish recording the guitars and vokills the next time he is able to be conditionally released from the asylum... Recently, the SCABLORD himself managed to get a supervised weekend pass (January, 2005)and was able to put down 3 more songs on guitar. So far the result is nothing short of sick... picture a raw Autopsy meets Dead Infection!! Beware the plague of the Scablord is coming for you...

Bloodbucket Productions is proud and horrified to tell you that "Kiss The Gristle" is now complete!! The Scablord himself was able to finish the guitar and lay down the sickest vokills he could at Audio Danage Mobile Studios. The result... 13 tracks of sick, twisted, raw as fuck goregrind or Scabkore if you wish.
